Shifting Stars: See What the Stars Are Bringing in 2021

Shifting Stars is a column where you can ask all of your questions about life, love, yourself or

anything else that may come up and the universe will provide answers. As we approach the new year and the middle of Capricorn season, there are some things to know as we transition from 2020 to 2021.

2020 is ending on a very important note in Capricorn. As we reflect on the past year, think about how many things have happened and how hard and challenging everything was. Did you adapt and leave behind things that no longer serve you? Or do you continue to harbor habits that only cause harm? This is really important to note as the pandemic occurred during this year as well as the U.S. election. Many things that happened should have served as a reality check to guide us toward the right path. Over the past several months, strong energy has been building in the world to address all of the discord and disharmony that exists in the world. This branches from money, family, traditions, society and more. As the end of the year approaches, that energy is reaching a climax.

As 2021 starts, we are ushering a new era of Aquarius. This is an incredibly rare and very important marker. Essentially, all of this energy that has been building throughout 2020 is now going to change in 2021. All of the norms that have been established, both individually and societally, are going to be challenged and changed for the better. Many structures that were once dependable on will feel to many as though they can no longer depend on it (cough government cough). As the transformation starts, many will feel the need to hold on to what they have been holding on to for all of this time, whether it is the past, relationships, careers, etc.

However, as uncomfortable as this is, it is critical that we leave our old routines and make room for something new and better whatever that may be. 2021 is going to be intense and challenging, but it is the tipping point for us. Don’t be afraid, good things are coming and we will be building a new foundation for something that will serve us better. Don’t be alarmed at what this may mean or anxious about what is to come. You will know what to do when the time comes and when the opportunity presents itself. We can only get better from here. Let’s welcome this new year with open arms together.
