Shifting Stars: How Each Zodiac Sign Like to Date
Welcome to this month's Shifting Stars, your astrological blog that spills the tea and tells it how it is. This month, we are going to get into relationships and astrology. From synastry charts to sister signs to twin flames, there's a lot in astrology that explores romantic relationships. It's probably one of the reasons why astrology is more popular. With Valentine's barely behind us, we hope that you can take something away from this to woo your love. ;-)
We are going to explore how each of the signs prefers to date based on whether they are mutable, cardinal, or fixed. Each of the zodiac signs falls into one of those three categories — also known as modalities — which deeply affects how each sign interacts with others. There's a little romance for everyone.
Cardinal Signs
Cardinal signs are Libras, Aries, Cancers and Capricorns. Cardinal signs are always the beginning of an era. Each of these signs marks the beginning of a new season. For example, Capricorn marks the start of winter. They are the initiators in our lives. They like to take action and achieve their goals, even if it means there are a lot of risks involved and can feel like they are mowing people over. However, there's no denying that they get the job done.
Cardinal signs love people who are down for whatever. They want a partner who can stand by them through their ambition. However, they don't want someone who always says yes. They want someone with deep thoughts who can help reach their destination and someone who speaks their mind. They like to dominate, but also enjoy fighting for that dominance. They will want someone who is spontaneous, who remembers the little details about them.
Mutable Signs
Mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. Mutable signs are always the end of an era. Each of these signs mark the end of a season. For example, Virgo marks the end of summer. They are the thinkers and the wanderers within our lives. They love to merge with the crowd and hate making decisions. However, they are the signs best prepared for change and transformation. If you have a mutable sign in your life, they will be the most open-minded and flexible people you may ever know.
Mutable signs love to be treated to a very chill time that is crafted to their liking. They don't want a whole lot and if you ask them what they want, it'll take a long time for them to fully answer. They love to be with people who are creative and know how to gently take charge. They also love being around people who know how to have a good time and take their feelings into consideration. They like a person who will tell them what to do because that person knows exactly what they want to do.
Fixed Signs
Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. Fixed signs are always in the middle of an era. Each of these signs starts in the middle of a season. For example, Scorpio marks the middle of fall. They are the loyalists and the unbudging in our lives. These are the people who will always have your back, but also hate to be provided any criticism that goes against their already formed opinion. If you ever need someone who will always be in your corner, regardless of whether you are wrong or not, they are the person for you. They would go to war for their loved ones but also go to war for their beliefs. They're not ones to constantly change, but that's part of their appeal. You can always depend on them to be consistent.
Fixed signs like to be lavished over and treated. They often feel that they know everyone and always have everyone's back, but that no one has theirs in the same way. It's about the little gestures, but it is also about making sure they're always comfortable. They love to be with people who are flexible and move with the wind, but with a stable sense of self. They want to be with someone who can encourage them to move but won't betray them. They like a person who will be straightforward but also knows how to flirt freely with them.
I hope that you have had a wonderful Valentine's Day and that everyone who reads this knows that there isn't just one day to show you love someone, but 365 days to show your love. Don't let Valentine's Day be the only day you shoot your shot or treat your loved one. A whole year means many chances and opportunities. I'm rooting for you. Come back next month to see how the stars treat spring.
