Hello, Shifters — we're finally ready to share Shifter's new form.
Adventurer Steph Davis has made a name for herself as a successful professional climber and wingsuit BASE jumper. She uses her own brand, which embodies her love of nature, adventure, and interpersonal relationships, to share her experiences and ideas. When developing a brand, Davis stresses the value of being consistent and genuine to oneself. As the outdoor sector changed, she went from being a professional climber to becoming a speaker, brand ambassador, and content developer. Her experience serves as a reminder of how vital it is to change and rise to new difficulties in life as well as in the quest for adventure.
We are super excited to announce the pre-sale of our latest issue: REDEMPTION. The Shifter team has been working day and night, putting together a beautiful, dark and dreamy collection of photos, poems and redemption-ready pieces.
This pre-sale drops tonight, June 7, 2021, at midnight EST. Our issue won't be published digitally until June 30 but orders will be shipped out starting June 21. Because we are a small publication, doing a pre-sale helps us identify how many orders we are capable to produce.

Inspired by a similar product sold at Trader Joe's, Dave Bakes shares a recipe for milk and honey biscuits on his blog. The author describes his attempts to replicate the unique grooves on the cookies, finally landing on a texture that is slightly uneven since vanilla bean seeds and orange zest were added. He gives his recipe, which calls for butter, margarine, sugar, egg yolk, milk, honey, flour, baking powder, salt, and orange zest. Instructions for baking the cookies and getting a gently browned finish are included at the end of the post.
