New Mitski Album ‘Laurel Hell’ Set for Release on Feb. 4
The indie singer-songwriter Mitski’s sixth studio album will be available for purchase and streaming 10 days before Valentine’s Day.
Mitski is known among her fans for her profound lyrics about heartbreak, depression, and growing up. Her previous albums include, most recently in 2018 “Be The Cowboy” containing the melodramatic hit “Nobody,” followed by “Puberty 2,” “Bury Me at Makeout Creek,” “Retired From Sad, New Career in Business,” and “Lush.”
Prior to the Laurel Hell’s release date, the artist made four of the 11 songs on the tracklist available for listening, “The Only Heartbreaker,” “Working for the Knife,” “Heat Lightning,” and “Love Me More.”
Mitski will be supporting the album on her 2022 North American and U.K. tour, as well as opening for Harry Styles on his European tour throughout the coming summer and fall.
Physical copies of Laurel Hell are available for pre-order in CD (with four limited-edition disks), vinyl, and cassette.
